It is my turn to announce the next challenge subject due May 31, 2016. I have chose KITSCH.
Kitsch is defined as pleasingly distasteful.
It is melodramatic, overdone, gaudy, purposely tacky, sentimental, cutesy fun, folksy or hideous ugly. It is so bad it is cool!
This challenge is meant to be fun and a chance to let go and over embellish or use fabric prints together you may not have used.
The Facebook Page Kitschy Living can give ideas and inspiration. Garden art has plenty of kitschy elements such as pink flamingos, gnomes in Harley jackets and planting flowers in mannequin heads!
This is a go for it challenge and be gaudy and tacky! I can't wait to see what everyone creates!! :)
