Kitsch - Christine Lee
I googled kitsch and it came with lots of animals doing weird things.
This quilt is all raw edged appliquéd, I put in as many bright colours and bling that I would not normally use.
I have relied on texture to make it more interesting.

Love it! Especially love the "too cool for school" eyeball roll and the hoodie. great job.

ReplyDeleteI love this quilt! I am a crazy cat lady and also love stripes. A quilt with a sense of humor is always a favorite of mine. The boats are fun too!

ReplyDeleteYes! Mid century design, one of my favorite eras for kitschy stuff, used a lot of crazy animal themes. This hits it perfectly!
