When I thought about Monochromatic, I knew I wanted to use nothing but my leftovers!!!
I also knew I wanted to quilt using the decorative stitches on my new toy - Ross - my Bernina 710!
I had done that before... way back in 2012
This time, I used tulle left overs from the tutus I made for the recent craft fair to make the background! I used my favorite lot of yellows to oranges!
I fused the tulle down onto a batting that I mottled with some yellow dye.
Then I put a black tulle on top to secure it all and quilted it with the decorative stitches I always wanted to.
I love the texture the stitching creates!!!
Do you like my monpochromatic?
Yes, I do! I love the heavy stitching and the tulle really adds texture. Great ideas!

This is wonderful!! May I ask how you fused the tulle to the batting?
