As a powerful spiritual totem, the Phoenix is the ultimate symbol of strength and renewal.
As both are fire and solar symbol, the phoenix animal guide is symbolic of the sun, which "dies" in setting each night only to be reborn in rising the next morning.
I feel a deep connection to this creature due to the fact that it is also a symbol of rebirth; it returns to life from death in a fiery manner, to face the challenges of life head on.
We can never simply let the bad days weigh us down - we must always fight the darkness and find the light. Not all days will be good, but I like to remind myself that I am still the same person I was during the good days. That gives me the confidence to rise from the ashes, ready to take on all the challenges that life can throw at me.
