My inspiration this time was an old favourite t-shirt that I wore many years ago when I was pregnant. I went hunting though my dresser drawers and down at the bottom there it was.
When I used to wear the shirt I thought the graphic was fun- a big momma ladybug carrying a baby bug. The outline of the momma perfectly mirrored my big belly LOL
For the challenge I redrew the bugs and changed the colour scheme. I first stitched the outlines, then coloured the shapes with inktense pencils and finished up with some free motion quilting.
The quilting doesn't show well in my photo of the front so here's a peek at the back:
