Structure
I had my piece done early this time! And had plenty of time to play with it! At first glimpse it's colorful pieces scattered across a field of aqua framed with a fuzzy fiber border.
I used a double layer of TimTex for the whole structure.
This piece is the same on both sides - no front or back.
I popped the pieces out - zig-zagged the edges shut and I'm able to
construct any number of weird little shapes!
It's quite relaxing as there are no rules and anything goes!

Well, aren't you clever. This could keep me entertained for quite some time. Love your colorful, whimsical structure.
ReplyDelete"Clever" is the same word that first popped into my head too!!! Very cool!!
ReplyDeleteLove the technique and the result! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI could play with your piece for ages, such an ingenious idea.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I was thinking of doing something like a mad fold in where the quilt could be folded to make a different picture but this idea is way better!
ReplyDeleteThat is thinking outside the box so to speak, would be a great game for kids on a rainy day.
ReplyDeleteI love sculpture, you are so clever.
ReplyDeleteWell I hate to be repetitious but the word clever is what popped into my mind also!!! Very unique structure!
