"DNA Structure"
I wasn't sure what I was going to do with this challenge. My first idea was to do a building structure, as this is something I wanted to dabble in for a change.
On Christmas Eve my pregnant daughter had an Ultra Sound done in her 8th month. This is the scan of her little face, it is amazing things science has come up with.
So I thought that a DNA Structure would be fun to do. Seeing as little "Willow" arrived safe and well on Tuesday, the timing was just right for this.
The picture was printed on cloth, I free motioned stitched the DNA and painted it in girlie colours. Then echo stitched it all.
Congratulations on Willow (beautiful name by the way). You've done her first commemorative quilt really well (i'm sure there will be others!).
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Willow. I like the colours you used for the binding and the DNA strands.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a grand daughter I really love this quilt and well timed.
