Structure - Sue M - "Pavilion of Cubes"

Love this theme and knew immediately what I wanted to do. Years ago I had  a book by J. T. Unruh, Impossible Objects and I thought one of the illusions would make a good quilt. I photocopied a couple of pages and put them into my 'to do' file.

This piece is called the "Pavilion of Cubes"

  2. Great structure topic. Oh and the way you used your color to give it movement. Love the detail.

  3. Very cool! I'm an Escher fan and will look up Unruh now. This translated to fiber very nicely!

  5. This is an interesting piece, not sure which part to look at first. Bit of a brain teaser. The echo quilting really makes it stand out as well.

  10. I love your quilt. I was looking at optical illusion structures till I narrowed on my topic! Great choice of colours and a lovely balance in the quilt.
