Next Challenge: "Structure", Reveal Date January 31st, 2015

The next challenge is "Structure" with January 31, 2015 as the reveal date.

I go to textile art lessons given by a talented, inspirational woman who has many books on the tables around which our lessons take place. Last time I was there a book called 'Stitch and structure:design and technique in two and three dimensional textiles' by Jean Draper took my fancy. So here it is:- "Structure".

The Shorter Oxford English Dictionary gives this definition:-

'Structure can be defined in a number of ways, but it is generally accepted that the term refers to the framework or constituent parts or elements making up an object. It also refers to the way in which these parts are put together and connected determining the particular nature, character and shape of an object.'

Structure can be organic or natural, or man made. So the challenge theme is 'Structure.' I hope everyone enjoys the challenge.
