Flight of Fantasy - Christine Lee
Dyed background with a corded and knotted tree. Quilted lightly.
Very sci fi! love the somber mood you've made it have too with the lovely gradient and black and white colour way. It has a lovely feeling.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I love it! It evokes such sadness and a little eeriness.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely...I love the technique you used on the tree!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wild and great piece!!!! This is great!!!!! I keep looking at it (clicked on it to see better!)...
ReplyDeleteVery different, I love it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Chris. I love the little creature and the gnarly tree. I hope to see it in the flesh on Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteIs it okay to have a favorite among favorites? Okay, I've said it.....my favorite. I love how you've interpreted the fantasy world.
ReplyDeleteIs that a little fairy/elf on the branch, he looks so forlorn. I love the fact I can use my own imagination on what is going on. Nice piece
ReplyDeleteWhat a lonely little creature, hope his friends aren't too far away. Great technique for the tree.
ReplyDeleteA very 'Moody' piece. Great texture in your tree, would love to see it live.
