Abstract - Vivian Kapusta - "Play"

I like  ABSTRACT because it is spontaneous  and frees your ‘inner artist’ to play!

ABSTRACT… where to begin? … I looked at a pile of miscellaneous fabrics …

One fabric caught my eye. It was originally a wipe-up rag for fabric dye. I used ‘bubble wrap’ to print the bubbles  and followed up with plates to print the circles.

From that point, I added some embroidery and beading. I find the handwork to be relaxing!

    Aren't the wipe-ups just real treasures? I have to do some gel painting on fabric some day. Took a class working with paper only.
