Tattoos - Christine Lee

Women surviving breast cancer are to be admired. they are an inspiration to us all.  Not all are able or want to have a reconstruction, some choose not to be defined by their breast and wear their scars proudly others choose to have a tattoo covering their scar. They all fight a courageous battle each in a very different way.

  1. Wow! I had no idea that after having a breast removed that one would have a tattoo instead of reconstruction. This is very powerful as well as artistic!! :)

  2. Yes, a very powerful statement and courageous way to conquer such an invasive disease and disfiguring treatment. I think I would be proud to have a tattoo done under those circumstances.

  5. I have seen the most incredible tattoos on women after breast surgery. Makes them strong. Love that added that angle to our collective thinking about tattoos.
