New Member Introduction - Tina Hvitfeldt

I've been looking over the quilts on this blog and am more pleased than ever to be joining such a talented group.

I am retired to the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, after a career as a linguistics professor. My husband and I taught in the US, Germany and Zambia, then spent the last twenty years teaching in Southeast Asia -- Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. I have, of course, collected fabrics and embellishments everywhere I've been and now enjoy using these in my quilts. 

I'm hoping this group will provoke me artistically!

    Hi Tina. Glad to hear you spent time in Zambia. Which part may I ask? It really is a small country here 😉
