My newest favorite coffee-table book is Unconventional & Expected by Roderick Kiracofe. It's all about American quilts below the radar between 1950-2000. I love the author's stunning collection of nearly 150 eccentric, maverick and extraordinary quilts. All made by predominately anonymous quilters in the US.
Here are photo snippets of my "below the radar" quilt inspired by the Unconventional & Unexpected.

That could become my next favourite book! You have conveyed the essence of the book so well, both in the piecing and the quilting. A bright and cheery beautiful quilt.
