Next Challenge: "Texture", Reveal Date November 30th, 2015

I love adding dimension to an art quilt through texture.  There are many different techniques that can be used to add texture.

Texture itself can be smooth, rough, fuzzy etc.  One definition is :The tactile surface quality of a work of art, resulting from the artist's technique.  In other words, it is one of those works of art that makes you want to reach out and touch it.  It brings out a reaction in the viewer.

I am looking forward to the textural works of art created by these 20 artist's.  I know I will learn something new from their works.

    I've actually started on mine! WooHoo! Only because I have so much to do over the next two months before we head to Floroida!!! Yikes! Can't wait to see what others do as well, Janet!!
