Love the background fabric. Enlarged pic but couldn't see the beads. The scene looks cold which suits our climate at the moment but no snow thank goodness. A lovely little scene and the little house just makes it pop.
ReplyDeleteLove this. Your winter wonderland is making me feel cooler already.
ReplyDeleteLove the snowy sky fabric too. A lovely snowy scene.
ReplyDeleteGreat use for that fabric!!! Perfect! And you'll be able to display it during the winter months!!! Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the theme Jay and a really lovely use of that fabric too.
ReplyDeleteYou must have had fun stitching all those beads on the fence, I love your background fabric too.
ReplyDeleteYou have chosen the perfect background to your snowy scene. I like that you have used 2/3 background to 1/3 scene, it is just right, love it.
ReplyDeleteYou've picked great fabrics! And I like the idea of beads for the snow on the fence.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful scene...and with the temps over 100 here today I think I just want to walk right into it! :)
ReplyDeleteHow clever I didnt even think of Christmas fabric for the background, I guess thats because its so generally so hot.
ReplyDeleteLovely quilts and great landscape.
It really looks like it is snowing! Love the dark fabric with the snowflakes and the beads on the fence. Janet
ReplyDeleteGreat use of commercially printed fabrics. I like it when you can find the 'right' fabric to do the job.
ReplyDeleteA very pleasing result - well done Jay.
