Snowflake - Jay

The latest challenge is titled "Snowflake".  It just so happens I have billions of Christmas fabric that have a snowflake motif!  So I pulled out all my fabrics and decided to do a mountain/winter scene using nothing but my snowflake fabric...except for the fence and white beads for snow on the fence.

As always, a fun challenge and I am now anxious to see what every one else has done with this subject!

"Snowflake"
If you can zoom in on the fence, you can see the beads...the background fabric is my favorite!  Gray, covered all over with snowflakes!

  1. Love the background fabric. Enlarged pic but couldn't see the beads. The scene looks cold which suits our climate at the moment but no snow thank goodness. A lovely little scene and the little house just makes it pop.

  7. You have chosen the perfect background to your snowy scene. I like that you have used 2/3 background to 1/3 scene, it is just right, love it.

  12. Great use of commercially printed fabrics. I like it when you can find the 'right' fabric to do the job.
A very pleasing result - well done Jay.
