While I didn't make my whole quilt from "found" objects or oddities, I didn't buy a single new thing for it. (My sewing closet is pretty well stocked! My retirement plan is working!) I raided my button jars for the bees body and used produce bags for the wings, pipe cleaners for the legs. I took the liberty of giving her big blue eyes as black eyes just disappeared - and c'mon - she's a honey!
