The 3 R's - Lizz Ploppert

I have always liked the little poem:
     Use it up,
     Wear it out,
     Make it do,
     Or do without!

While I didn't make my whole quilt from "found" objects or oddities,  I didn't buy a single new thing for it. (My sewing closet is pretty well stocked! My retirement plan is working!) I raided my button jars for the bees body and used produce bags for the wings, pipe cleaners for the legs. I took the liberty of giving her big blue eyes as black eyes just disappeared - and c'mon - she's a honey!

    She's Bee-autiful :) (So glad no-one had take that one yet). The blue eyes do make it and I love the buttons and hexes in the background. Well done!
