The theme for the next challenge is "The 3 R's - Re-Use, Recycle, Reduce." I know that we all have the odd bits and pieces leftover from previous projects, things that haven't turned out quite how we'd like them too etc. Now is your chance to use them in this challenge and reduce the amount of "stuff" that I know we all collect and keep ...... just in case we need it.
Hope you enjoy the challenge.
This one kind of scared me at first. But then BAM! I got an idea that is going to be so fun if I can pull it off. I'm using products I've never used before so it really is a challenge! Wish me luck.
ReplyDeleteI've already started 'gathering'!!! Should be a fun one!!! Woo hoo!
ReplyDeleteI'm in, I've been promoting reuse, recycle and reduce on my blog since I started and I've got a gazillion ideas. Is there criteria for these two "use them" and "reduce the amount we collect and keep"?
ReplyDeleteThe idea is to use what you already have on hand and reduce some of what we have collected over time. I have a problem with throwing things away and have heaps of odds and ends.
DeleteHi,
Deletewe do these challenges as a blog group every two months and it's a closed group with a waiting list at the moment - however there's no reason you couldn't do your own version of the challenge and post it on your own blog? You could put in the comments on ours where it is when you do it so we can go have a look and link to this blog in yours too? We work in A3.
Ok, sounds good, I'm on a fabric fast, so far its been 1 year since buying anything new. But what is A3?
DeleteA3 is 420x297mm - it's a standard paper size, though perhaps not in the USA.
DeleteI have a large stash of recyclables to use, just have to start :-)
ReplyDeleteJust a reminder that we aren't meant to be buying anything new for this challenge - everything should be used from what you already own or repurposed in some way. Is that still the case Sue?
ReplyDeleteThat's the general idea Neroli.
