I just had to go with this: PEACE in the Ukrainian alphabet. But will it really happen? Hence the question mark.
I purchased Word Play Quilts by Tonya Ricucci and pieced a practice block for a different quilt.
So I stayed with the new technique, a pieced word block, but what I wanted to say changed due to political circumstances. None of this is my original design. I have seen many quilters focus on Ukraine, the flag colors, the sun flowers, the word Peace in Ukrainian, the drops of blood.
But that's what I wanted to say.
This is interesting... I am guessing this is to do with the current crises in Ukraine?

It is unbelievable that Russia believes that it has the right to a sovereign country ... beautiful Ukraine has been turned into a battleground!
