New Member Introduction - Lesley Brankin

Hi Everyone - lovely to meet you all here as well as those who I have already met on Facebook.

I live in England in the beautiful town of Malvern (about 35 miles south west of Birmingham) with my husband and two on/off resident offspring. Although making art quilts is my main passion, if asked, I would describe myself as a 'textile artist'. To my mind the term permits me the freedom to incorporate whatever techniques and materials I wish into my work - paint, print, embroidery, computer imagery, traditional patchwork, beads, found objects etc. etc. If something fits in with the design then I will give it a go!

Making things has been part of my life for as long as I can remember and I thrive on the excitement a new creative challenge brings so am really looking forward to being part of this group.
