Monochromatic 2 Teaser - Neroli Henderson

I've been dabbling with ideas for our almost due 'Monochromatic' Art Quilt Challenge.

I know i like blue, so this is where I started. I used water colour pencils to sketch some ideas. I wanted something abstract, like lines in a cave wall or streaks of colour through glaciers - looking down in caverns etc. However my hand had other ideas and one lot of curves turned into waves.

I ran a question poll on what the most popular of the first 2 was on my Facebook page and I am to start painting the background this afternoon.
