The 3 R's - Ineke

As you all know, I think, we moved two month ago. So you have to clean and reorganize all your stuff.
Rooms are smaller here so I REDUCED my wardrobe and a lot went to charity, other things I have preserved.
I kept this blouse for instance, because I love the color. I've cut the front in two pieces and it includes the original buttons and buttonholes. I found a chequered red scarf that fits to the backing and ....ready.
I RECYCLED my blouse and it is REUSED as a quilt.
I tried some doodling on the machine. I added some old labels too.
The backing I showed you in my teaser some days ago.
Hope you like it.

  1. What a clever way to use and keep a favorite blouse. I really like the labels and the red stripe in the middle.

  3. A wonderful way to reuse and recycle something you no longer need. A beaut background on which to try various quilting designs. I like the touch of red and the backing fabric.
