Denise Griffiths - Road Less Travelled
Well, what a challenge this has been. The least of all, me trying to remember to schedule my post on the group blog and not mine. Maybe next time.
Like most of us, it has taken me nearly the whole 2 months to think of something to make.
Then an idea came from a morning walk one day. Across the road from me there are a lot of trees, mostly natives to Australia, in it. My Dad planted them all about 30 years ago when he retired, to give himself something to do, so there are lots of birds that hang out over there now.
It is lovely at dusk when there is so much noise, with them all saying goodnight before they settle down in their favourite tree.
It is spring here in Australia and mating season for the birds. All the locals know you can't walk through the park for several weeks or you will get dive bombed from behind and pecked on the head as they protect their nests.
One of the deterrents some children use is putting an ice cream container on your head with eyes drawn on the back so they think you are watching them.
So this would definetly be my Road Less Travelled.
