Beginning Carnival

I've had a week with nothing to do because of a bad cold/cough. Today was the first day I had the energy to get into the studio to work for a while, so I started the carnival piece. Sitting around not working doesn't necessarily mean not thinking, and I came up with an idea.
Mine will be on 'permission to play' and be made using multiple layers (well, at least 2 or 3). Here is layer one.
